Osaka Gakuin University Senior High School is located in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, and is affiliated with Osaka Gakuin University. This project required the relocation of the school to a site adjacent to the university campus for high school-university collaboration, as well as seismic reconstruction due to the aging of the old school building. By collaborating with the university campus, a reasonable facility scale was achieved in anticipation of the declining birthrate and aging society.

Osaka Gakuin University Senior High School은 일본 오사카에 위치해 있다. 이 프로젝트는 대학 캠퍼스와 인접한 부지로 고등학교를 이전하는 동시에 오래된 학교 건물의 현대화를 위해 진행됐다. 새 학교 건물은 교실 건물과 카페테리아 건물로 나뉜다. Osaka Gakuin University Senior High School은 미래를 탐구하는 학생들을 생각하며 '배'의 형상처럼 보이도록 설계됐으며, 건물의 특징인 외부의 역동적인 디자인의 발코니는 일반적인 학교에서 볼 수 없는 독특한 구조로 인상적이다.

Osaka Gakuin University Senior High School의 알루미늄 압출 외장재 발코니는 형태에 따라 빛과 그림자를 시시각각 변화시켜 다양한 외관을 연출한다. 건물의 내부는 유기적인 형태의 생활 공간을 중심으로 교실이 배치된 깔끔한 구조다. FLS(Flexible Learning Studio)와 다양한 외부공간을 비롯한 실내의 크고 작은 모임 공간으로 학생들의 능동적인 활동을 유도한 것이 특징이다. Osaka Gakuin University Senior High School은 그룹 작업 및 프레젠테이션뿐 아니라 휴식 공간과 방과 후 학생들 간의 의사소통을 배려한 따스함이 묻어나는 프로젝트다.
