파르크 앤 블랑쉬(FÄRG & BLANCHE)는 스웨덴 디자이너 프레드릭 파르크(Fredrik Färg)와 프랑스 태생의 디자이너 엠마 마가 블랑쉬(Emma Marga Blanche)의 은밀한 실험실이다. 2010년 스톡홀름에 설립한 스튜디오는 BD Barcelona Design과 Gärsnäs, Rörstrand, Design House Stockholm 등 가구 브랜드와 협업하며, 갤러리를 위한 컬렉션과 예술품을 제작하고 있다. 고급 가구 제작자 출신인 프레드릭은 영국계 터키 디자이너 후세인 샬라얀(Hussein Chalayan)과 작고한 알렉산더 맥퀸(Alexander McQueen)의 작품으로부터 패션에 대한 열렬한 관심을 키워왔다. 엠마는 미술 교사인 어머니로부터 창조적인 영향을 받았으며, 14살 때부터 인테리어 디자이너를 꿈꿨다. 개성 강한 듀오의 스타일을 결합한 파르크 앤 블랑쉬는 그들의 고유한 터치를 잃지 않으면서 독점적인 수공예 작업과 산업디자인 사이를 유연하게 오간다.

WOOD TAILORING ACCESSORIES & BAGS

프레드릭과 엠마는 혁신적인 우드 테일러링을 개발하고 이 새로운 기술을 접목한 가방, 펜 홀더, 트레이, 바구니 등의 액세서리 컬렉션을 공개했다. 2014년 단단하고 부드러운 재료를 조합해 붙이는 목재 테일러링 기반의 첫 작품을 선보인 뒤, 대량 생산에 적용하는 단계로 나아가고 있다.

Stool made of felt, textile and mdf. With a heating process the shape has appeard by drawing rope around the shape of the table and then baked it in an oven. The rope has then been removed but the pattern of the rope remains.

WOOD TAILORING™

나무껍질, 나이테 또는 지형도를 연상시키는 우드 테일러링 기법의 안락의자. 재봉틀을 사용해 목재에 직접 바느질하는 방식으로 두꺼운 합판의 서로 다른 부분을 연결한다. 고유의 미적 감각을 가진 패턴이 모여 유기적인 형태의 디자인을 탄생시켰다.

Wood Tailoring employs sewing machine to stitch directly on to the wood in order to join different parts together while at the same time creating patterns which has an aesthetic of their own. Layer on layer of thick plywood is stitched together to make the Wood Layer Armchair, and where the sewing presents a topographical map with an organic pattern that resembles the growth of wood.

루바브 램프는 바닥에서 바깥쪽을 향해 부채꼴로 펼쳐지는 실루엣을 갖춰 유기적인 형태의 송이 모양을 만든다. 접힌 폴리프로필렌으로 만들어진 램프는 스톡홀름에 있는 생물학박물관의 원형 계단에 전시되었으며, 박제 동물과 바다새의 360도 디오라마로 둘러싸여 있다.

The collection Succession are dressed in leather and textile, the stools was brought to life through a series of processes. The base is made of an innovative composition of materials which has been dressed in textile and leather and had ropes tied around it before being baked.

LOUD BAR CABINET
for NORTHERN

The cabinet is designed without embellishments and crafted with smooth contours. The doors and side surfaces are enhanced by a seamless layer of polished aluminium laminate that creates a dazzling mirror effect. The gleaming body is complemented by a tabletop crafted in smoked oak, with oak legs that rest on metal castors capping each foot.

F-A-B 쿠튀르 시리즈는 의자가 신체의 역할을 한다는 아이디어에서 착안한 디자인이다. 사치스러운 옷을 입을 때마다 완전히 새로운 성격을 드러내는 몸에서 영감을 얻었다. 심플하고 우아한 가죽 소재 또는 화려한 글리터 원단의 패턴이 특징이다.

달에 대한 경험은 하늘을 나는 상상만큼이나 매혹적이다. 태양 광선처럼 표면에 반사되는 아름다운 홀로그램이 사용자의 호기심과 상호작용을 자극한다. 문 램프의 빛이 그림자를 드리울 때마다, 마법 같은 황홀함을 느낄 수 있다.

Fredrik Färg and Emma Blanche brought us the moon. The experience of Moon is as enchanting as the one in the sky: the light that surrounds it is reflected on the surface like the rays of the sun when they meet the moon. The effect is reminiscent of a captivating hologram.

TABLES SACK TVA BORD

The base of the Sack table by Färg & Blanche is shaped from a sack, and then covered in Jesmonite. The hard table top is covered in soft textile. Play with both the eye and the conventions, that is.

보석에서 영감을 받은 링 캔들 홀더는 세련된 작은 촛대로, 잘 차려진 테이블을 우아하게 밝힌다. 세 개의 링은 스탠드를 형성해 캔들 홀더에 안정감을 부여하고, 전통적인 촛대에서 영감을 받은 반복되는 문양의 고리가 손잡이 역할을 한다.

We also included two solid textures in the collection: one flat fabric with some stretch, which is something we are always looking for when we’re designing sofas and chairs, and another that is highly textured with a much thicker hand.

In 2013, we created the Emma armchair, whose back is held up entirely by its own seams. A few years later, the Emily chair arrived. Now the family has been expanded with two more chairs, Lina and Elin, which gives three siblings that are based on the same foundation, but with completely different characters.

창의적인 디자이너 듀오는 우드 테일러링 기술을 고심해 왔다. 2016 스톡홀름 가구 박람회인 gärsnäs에서 선보인 줄리어스 소파 및 암체어 컬렉션은 가구와 나무를 결합하는 새로운 가능성을 여실히 보여주었다. 숙련된 장인의 손을 거쳐 직접 꿰맨 봉제 기술을 최대한 활용해 견고하고 아름다운 디자인을 구현했다.

For the sofa and armchair collection Julius, they have been exploring new possibilities of joining the upholstery to the wood. With Wood Tailoring™, sewing technology is taken to its extreme by the hands of highly skilled craftsmen.
