The sinuous, perpetual movement of Graphè connects the Peplo and Thalassa models, between impressions of classic imagery and sinuous vibrations that link back to the world of Hellenistic art. The collection constitutes a chart of elective affinities where chromatic resonance and iconography of the design outline a new way of cladding surfaces.

크리스티나 셀레스티노(Cristina Celestino)는 기하학과 색채를 실험하며 자신만의 새로운 유형학을 창조해왔다. 1980년 이탈리아 포르데노네에서 탄생한 그는 2005년 베니스 대학교에서 건축학 학위를 취득했다. 어린 시절 케이크와 초콜릿 등 달콤한 디저트에 매료된 크리스티나는 캔디 컬러와 기하학으로 묘사된 다양한 디자인을 선보였다. 2013년 밀라노에 스튜디오를 설립한 뒤에는 주거에서 외식 분야에 이르기까지 클라이언트를 위한 아트 디렉션과 제품들을 작업하는 독점 프로젝트에 집중했다. 크리스티나는 2022년 9월 개최한 메종앤오브제 파리(Maison & Object Paris, 2022)의 '올해의 디자이너'로 선정되어 전 세계적으로 주목받았으며, 베니스, 피렌체, 밀라노 등 그가 경험한 이탈리아 도시들의 라이프스타일을 영감으로 삼아 계층화에 대한 아이디어를 담은 디자인을 선보이고 있다.

Staging an ambush on territorial memory. This is the start of the dialogue between Cristina Celestino and Giovanni De Maio: an attempt to recall hidden things, to bring ornaments and indelible signs back to light, transforming them into new identities. The mnemonic world from which they emerge is composed of marine fragments, mineral sedimentations, geometric frameworks, rural weaves.

이탈리아 우디네에 위치한 1970년대 아파트는 야수적인 주조를 특징으로 한다. 디자이너는 이런 건축의 부드러운 면을 앞세우는 인테리어 디자인을 구현했다. 카사 우디네 프로젝트는 장미빛 질감의 회반죽부터 주 출입구의 둥근 캐노피까지 일종의 유연함과 둔탁함의 미학을 혼합하고 있다.
