COVER CHAIR / CLIENT. MUUTO
Cover was born from a desire to create a comfortable and contemporary armchair in wood. I aimed for a crisp and vivid expression in the plywood while looking for a solid and grounded look in the frame and base of the chair. Three years of play and hard work in the making has resulted in a light—yet strong—armchair, taking the molded veneer to its extreme.

스칸디나비아의 장인 정신과 현대적 디자인 언어를 결합하여 시대를 초월한 제품으로 완성된 라운지 체어는 심플하면서도 세련된 표현이 매력적이다. 현대적 디자인을 표현하기 위해 압착된 베니어 형태로 형상화한 등받이와 시트, 팔걸이는 견고한 목재 베이스와 조화롭게 어우러져 우아한 모습을 선보인다. Cover는 많은 실내 공간을 차지하지 않으면서도 커다랗고 포근한 좌석이 특징이며, 강한 내구성을 자랑한다.

SHADE BIN PAPER BIN / CLIENT. HAY
선명하고 깨끗한 실루엣이 돋보이는 Shade Bin은 실용성과 우아함을 겸비하고 있다. 기하학적인 형태는 내구성이 뛰어난 폴리프로필렌으로 제작되었으며, 탈착식이 가능한 뚜껑과 블랙, 그레이, 화이트, 그린 등 다양한 색상이 제공된다. 쓰레기통으로 제작되었지만 다양한 용도로 사용 가능하다.

The Cover Lounge Chair, an natural extension of the Cover Chair – came from a desire to create a comfortable lounging design in wood that was at once modern and timeless whilst deeply rooted in the traditions of Scandinavian craftsmanship.

Linear Steel Chair는 우아하고 깔끔한 라인과 섬세한 디테일이 어우러져 모던한 디자인으로 완성됐다. 직선과 모서리, 견고한 재질과 유기적이면서도 부드러운 형태의 대비를 통해 아웃도어 가구에 새로운 관점을 제시했다. 인체공학적으로 유려하게 구부러진 등받이가 뛰어난 안락함을 선사한다.

ENFOLD SIDEBOARD / CLIENT. MUUTO
단단한 떡갈나무로 강철 소재를 부드럽게 감싼 Enfold 사이드보드는 차가운 재료와 따뜻한 재료의 조화로움이 돋보이는 제품이다. 기존의 사이드보드를 새로운 시각으로 관찰하여 가정적인 느낌과 산업적인 느낌을 동시에 표현했다.

Around Coffee Table is both simple and vivid. Inspired by the 50’s and 60’s Scandinavian furniture masters’ crafted edges but with a contemporary feel-built in a contemporary way.

CONIC TABLE LAMP / CLIENT. MENU
원, 막대, 삼각형으로 이루어진 Conic은 기하학과 비대칭, 그림자와 빛에 대한 재미난 탐구를 통해 만들어졌다. 최소한의 수단으로 제품을 완성하고자 했던 Bentzen은 정확하고 뚜렷한 빛과 그림자의 분포를 만들어내 원뿔 모양의 연장선을 그려냈다. 2011년 밀라노에서 열린 Mindcraft Exhibition에서 첫 프로토타입을 선보였으며, 기본기에 충실하면서도 장난기 넘치는 디자이너의 관점을 엿볼 수 있다.

ASH LIGHT ARMCHAIR
Ash I은 디자이너와 제조업체의 협업 작품으로, SE 2011 - Cabinetmakers’s Autumn Exhibition에서 처음 선보였다. Ash 시리즈는 최소한의 재료와 도구로 만들었으며, 좌석과 등받이는 최대한 얇고 가벼운 베니어 형태로 제작됐다. 손으로 좌석과 등받이를 직접 구부려 프레임에 덧붙였다.
