2025년 봄 완공된 주택 'Moksha'는 미국 캘리포니아 포톨라 밸리에 자리한다. 건축물은 특정 장소에 시간이 지남에 따라 거주하는 층층이 쌓인 물질적 조건과 그 너머로 확장되는 것들을 중심으로 사색적인 틀을 설정한다. 견고한 1층 콘크리트 벽과 재생 목재 사이딩(외장재), 비 가림막은 상부 매스를 연결하고 주변 맥락과 조화를 이룬다. 메인 하우스와 게스트 하우스로 구성된 건물은 직교하는 기하학적 구조가 회전해 안뜰과 시야를 형성하고, 조각적 소재와 주위 풍경의 조합은 시각적 절정을 이룬다.

The primary suites on the upper level extend across the slope on cantilevered volumes, quietly hovering above the landscape. Set on a 12,500 m² site, the house offers panoramic views stretching from the adjacent Stanford University campus to the expanse of San Francisco Bay. The residence achieves a balance between its expansive presence and moments of calm and enclosure. Nestled beneath oaks, the guest house expands more intimately upward toward the bay through its canopy, enhancing the spatial layering of the interiors.
