Capella Taipei is located on Dunhua North Road in Songshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. Responding to its setting of century-old trees, the interior is conceived as a serene yet refined environment. Upon entry, the city’s bustle recedes, replaced by a quiet courtyard that marks the beginning of a curated visual journey. Curated works by local artists are integrated throughout the hotel. At the entrance, a piece by Taiwanese artist Lee Chen-Lin depicts misty peaks and lush valleys, establishing a calm, composed atmosphere.

 

카펠라 타이베이는 대만 타이베이시 쑹산구 둔화북로에 자리한다. 100년 된 나무들이 우거진 외부 환경과 조화를 이루도록, 인테리어 역시 편안하면서도 고급스럽게 완성되었다. 내부로 들어서면 도시의 소란스러움은 사라지고, 고요한 안뜰이 방문객을 맞이하며 시각적 여정이 시작된다. 곳곳에는 큐레이션된 현지 예술가들의 작품이 배치되어 시선을 사로잡는다. 입구 벽면에 걸린 대만 리첸린(Lee Chen-Lin)의 작품은 안개 낀 봉우리와 푸른 계곡을 섬세하게 직조해 정갈한 인상을 선사한다.

Guest rooms offer sweeping views of the city skyline, including Taipei 101. Select accommodations feature private balconies, expansive al fresco terraces, and outdoor dipping pools. The architect translates a residential sensibility into luxur y through handcrafted silk panels, developed in collaboration between Andre Fu Living and British artisans De Gournay. This fusion of Art Deco rhythm and garden-like calm extends to marquetry patterns found on entrance doors, tableware, and carpets throughout the hotel.
 
객실에서는 타이베이 101을 비롯한 도시 스카이라인을 한눈에 조망할 수 있으며, 일부 객실에는 전용 발코니나 넓은 야외 테라스(al fresco terraces), 야외용 디핑 풀도 마련되어 있다. 건축가는 장인정신이 깃든 실크패널과 럭셔리의 미학을 주거적 접근 방식으로 구현해 타이베이만의 감성을 담았다. 이 실크 패널은 건축가의 라이프스타일 브랜드 Andre Fu Living과 영국 장인 드 구르네(De Gournay)의 협업으로 완성된 것이다. 아르데코의 반복적 구조와 정원의 평온함을 결합한 디자인은 입구 문, 테이블웨어, 카페트 등에 새겨진 마르퀘트리(marquetry) 패턴에서도 이어진다.
