On the second floor, amid a vast sea of books, four distinct spaces unfold like islands along the main circulation route. At the center, a spacious pop-up zone commands attention with its striking form, a contemporary reinterpretation of the balconies of traditional Chinese houses. Translucent glass enhances the sense of openness, while interior lighting can shift to colors such as red, blue, and green, adjusting freely to match the theme. The vivid glow subtly filters outward, amplifying the zone's presence. To the east, a dedicated reading area adjoins the section for technical and professional publications, designed with its audience in mind. The ceiling's rhythmically composed structure, imbued with an industrial sensibility, sets a calm yet focused tone. Along the outer wall, window seats are thoughtfully arranged, shaping a tranquil nook awash in natural light.
