튀르키예 앙카라(Ankara, Turkiye)에 위치한 SMILES PREMIUM DENTAL CLINIC 프로젝트(이하 스마일스)는 치과에서 갤러리 같은 분위기를 느낄 수는 없을까?란 질문에서 비롯되었다. Wangan은 헬스케어의 공간적 기능성과 현대 미술관의 감성이 결합한 공간을 만드는 것이 이번 프로젝트의 과제였다. 이에 사용자의 경험, 정서적 깊이, 예술 감성이 바탕이 되는 공간을 디자인하였다. 스마일스의 이용자는 환영받는 고객으로, 단순한 의료 시설이 아닌 커뮤니티를 위한 생활 플랫폼이 되도록 기획되었다. 그 결과 케어, 문화, 디자인이 융합된 미래지향적인 헬스케어의 새로운 모델이 완성되었다.

Smiles was conceived with a simple but radical question: what if a dental clinic could feel less like a medical facility and more like a cultural space? From this idea emerged a project that challenges the conventions of healthcare design, prioritizing user experience, emotional depth, and artistic integration as much as clinical precision. Designed by Wangan Studio, Smiles reimagines the dental clinic as a place where wellness, care, hospitality, and art converge—transforming treatment into an elevated, human-centered experience. The result is a space where care, culture, and design converge, offering a dynamic and inspiring model for the future of healthcare.
